Emphasizing energy cultivation at Trimble Spa and Natural Hot Springs. Classes are designed for beginners (0-2 years), intermediate (2-4 years), and lapsed tai chi and qigong practitioners needing review of the fundamentals.
Note from the Instructor
All of my classes include one or all of the following: Proper stances, foot positions and moving naturally with power, gravity, speed, freedom. Build qi awareness and learn internal secrets of qi cultivation.
Lessons also include: standing, two-person testing for feedback and refinement; proper breathing techniques for relaxation and performance, plus breathing meditation exercises. Includes post-natal, or Buddha, breath and diaphragmatic breathing. Ask about any of these if you're interested in them.
BENEFITS include: Improve blood circulation to the brain. Open the joints, soften the tendons and ligaments. Build bone density.
Instructor's Promise: "The time-tested way to learn tai chi and qigong is through oral instruction and home practice. Get the most out of tai chi and qigong private or group practice and from learning basic, foundational exercises. Even one move repeated over and over is beneficial. Learn a few for a variety to benefit different parts of your body. No doubt about it, regular practice over time will reap greater benefits. I will work with you to visualize and internalize various skills and techniques, and tune into your own subtle, intrinsic energies.
