YOGA ... Now Three Nights a Week.

6:00 pm Mondays ... Kundalini Yoga

image of recardo morenoRicardo Moreno ... My own personal experience has been that these yoga sets appropriately challenge both advanced as well as
beginning yoga students.  The yoga set will meet you with whatever ability you come with to the class.  Kundalini Yoga is self-initiating.

The Kundalini Yoga teacher primarily holds the space for the students to open to their own experience.  As a Kundalini Yoga teacher I will suggest ways to help with body alignment, breath quality, rhythm of movement, etc., but it is the student's responsibility to connect with the teachings on a personal, individual level. 6:30 pm Tuesdays ... Hatha Yoga

julie mackeiwiscJulie Mackiewicz ... inviting the interplay of breath and movement, this class, working from and with Anusara principles (Anusara meaning “flowing with grace”), will flow through sequences of poses. Moving between strengthening and softening, building flexibility, strength and stamina, allowing the body to open and be bright while moving deeper within ourselves, this class is open to practitioners of all levels.

Julie began studying yoga in 2001 and became a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance in 2007.  Combining her yoga experience with years of various dance training, she views each movement and posture as an artistic expression.  This view has been reinforced by her teachers from Anusara, Kripalu, and Vinyasa paths to whom she expresses great gratitude for alighting her own path.  She verily believes in the transformative power of yoga.
